During the session, I focus on understanding your dog’s individual learning style, addressing specific challenges, and creating a customized training plan that suits them best. With one-on-one attention, I use positive reinforcement techniques to build trust, encourage desirable behaviors, and strengthen the relationship between you and your dog, ensuring a personalized and effective training experience.
Training Packages
A training package for dog lessons at Tails In Tune offers a structured series of sessions designed to address specific behaviors or skills. Each package is customized based on your dog’s needs, whether it’s basic obedience, behavior modification, or specialized training like trick training. The lessons include personalized guidance, with each session building on the progress made in previous ones, ensuring consistent improvement. With the package, you’ll receive ongoing support and tools to reinforce training at home, helping your dog achieve long-lasting results.

Behavior Modification
Private training sessions at Tails In Tune focus on helping you understand your dog’s body language and using that knowledge to enhance communication. By observing and interpreting signals such as tail positions, ear movement, and posture, I guide you in recognizing what your dog is feeling and how to respond appropriately. These one-on-one sessions provide personalized attention, allowing us to address specific behavioral challenges and strengthen the bond between you and your dog through clear, compassionate communication.
Trick Training
At Tails In Tune, I make trick training fun and rewarding for both dogs and their owners. Using positive reinforcement, I help dogs learn new skills, boost their confidence, and strengthen the bond between them and their owners. Each training plan is tailored to fit the dog's unique personality, ensuring a positive and engaging experience for all.

Puppy Socialization
Puppy socialization is the process of exposing your puppy to a variety of people, animals, environments, and experiences in a positive and controlled way. The goal is to help your puppy become confident, well-adjusted, and comfortable in different situations. Early socialization, ideally between 3 and 16 weeks of age, is crucial for preventing fear or aggression later in life. Positive interactions during this critical period teach puppies how to navigate the world safely and build good behaviors, making them more adaptable, friendly, and well-behaved as they grow.

Puppy Training
My Puppy course focuses on teaching young dogs essential skills, behaviors, and manners to set them up for success throughout their lives. It involves basic commands like sit, stay, and come, as well as crate training, potty training, and socialization. Positive reinforcement methods, such as praise and treats, are used to encourage good behavior and build trust. Puppy training also includes helping puppies learn to navigate their environment, interact with other dogs and people, and develop good habits. Early training is key to preventing behavioral issues and fostering a well-adjusted, well-behaved dog.

Understanding Dog Body Language
Reading a dog's body language is key to understanding their emotions, needs, and intentions. Dogs communicate through subtle cues like tail position, ear movement, posture, and facial expressions. For example, a wagging tail can indicate excitement, but the speed and position of the wag can reveal whether they are feeling friendly or anxious. Relaxed ears and a soft body usually suggest a calm state, while stiff body posture and raised hackles may indicate fear or aggression. By learning to interpret these signals, you can respond appropriately to your dog’s feelings, improving communication and strengthening your bond..
