About Tails In Tune
At Tails In Tune, I believe in fostering understanding and communication with dogs, rather than commanding them. Dogs are complex beings with emotions and feelings, and by learning to interpret their body language, we can develop a deeper connection with them. This approach not only leads to a more well-rounded and obedient dog but also strengthens the bond between human and dog, creating a harmonious and trusting relationship.
My Philosiphy
I believe there is no such thing as a "bad" dog—only a misunderstood one. I follow the LIMA (Least Intrusive, Minimal Adversive) training method, tailoring each plan to the individual dog I work with. My approach begins with positive reinforcement and engaging games to build trust and cooperation. While I prioritize reward-based methods, I also use tools to help polish behaviors like a martingale collar when necessary for behavior modification, such as addressing leash pulling. My goal is always to work with the dog in front of me, ensuring the most effective and compassionate training experience.
Get To Know The Team
Hello! My name is Bee, and I have had a deep passion for dogs since childhood. My love for dogs began at a very young age when I grew up with two puppies, who were the same age as me. As I matured, my connection with dogs only grew stronger. After the passing of those two dogs, my family welcomed a Golden Retriever named Marshall. It was with Marshall that I began learning the fundamentals of dog training, and it was through him that I developed a fascination with canine body language and communication.
As I advanced in life, I found myself in need of a service dog. I brought Rayla into my life as a puppy, and I trained her from the ground up. She excelled in her training, graduating at the top of her class a year ahead of schedule. Rayla has since become an outstanding service dog, providing me with invaluable hands-on experience. Additionally, I’ve had the opportunity to train a variety of dog breeds, from all walks of life. From basic obedience to Behavioral issues. further honing my skills and deepening my understanding of canine behavior.
Through my experiences, I have developed a profound appreciation for the bond between dogs and their owners, and I am dedicated to helping others foster that same connection.
